Elizabeth is a gorgeous lady that is a year shy of the big 30. I remember when I was approaching 30 that I just dreaded it. When I was young, everyone that I knew that was cool was in their 20’s or younger. And everyone that was over 30 was serious and not very fun. So needless to say turning 30 meant I was a real grown up. LOL! I survived my 30th birthday and even though I have to stop and do math to figure out how old I am now, my 30’s have been a lot of fun and I didn’t turn too serious. But back to Elizabeth, she sent me a link to Louis Vuitton recent Ad campaign. Here is one of the images for reference so you can see what we used for inspiration.
Elizabeth is breathtaking, so it was so easy to work with her. Our first set of images was inspired by an awesome Anthropologie Jacket she brought for the shoot and the second set the Louis Vuitton Ads. I don’t think Elizabeth has anything to worry about has she is going to glide into her thirties with style and panache.

Looking good, babe!!! We are doing a ton of senior portraits here at the studio. Everything is a bustling around here. (that is how I love it – crazy and creative). I wanted to share some from Alex’s session. Alex is super sweet and it was amazing to me how she transformed into something spectacular each time with three different looks we made for her. She was stunning. We built some inspired sets for her in the studio and then we made our way to our horse farm location. I have been in love with horses since I was a little girl and Alex adored them too. There was a little colt that thought it would be fun to “play” with us and by playing I mean nibbling. Poor Alex got a little “horseplay” when he nibbled her arm. A horse also came and gave her a big licking – nothing that some wet wipes wouldn’t remove. She was a trooper and the images turned out great!

She had some awesome ideas to incorporate her grandmother’s vintage suitcase and pearls. We took some images downtown near a location where her grandmother had her prom. Isn’t that cool? I love images that have meaning. :) She also put together some fabulous looks. I loved it because not only was she beautiful she had a bubbly, happy personality too. :)

WOW! So sad to see you all grown up. Your Mom must be soooo proud of you. You look about 30 in some of these pictures….lol! You did an outstanding job and so did your photographer. See you around. We just got back from a wonderful trip to Ben’s parent’s farm in Texas and a nice little jaunt to Colorado. We just played and relaxed. We visited with old friends and just had a grand time. Ben and I celebrated our 11th year together on the 5th. I am so grateful that I married my best friend. He is the best! I had to share some of my favorites of the girls. Gabriella is wearing GranAnn’s dress up clothes which are retired dresses from when her girls where young and the pink one was one she wore herself in the 9th grade. I hope you enjoy! I hope to be posting more sessions soon. The shooting schedule at the studio is jam packed. I am squeezing some time out to blog more. So, stay tuned.
